Hey all.

I want to tell you about another great giveaway event. If you are looking for private label content you can use for your business, or traffic secrets, or any other reports and software you could use to start or run your business online, you will want to sign up for this free giveaway.

If you are looking to be a contributor and build up your list of subscribers, you will want to get in earlier, like NOW before the door open to the public and you won’t be able to submit a gift for people to sign up for.

I am going to make this quick because I am sure I have posted previous comments about these giveaways since I love them and get involved whenever I have the time. If you are new and just starting out building a list, you may want to invest in the upgrade just because it will help you build up faster and get twice as many subscribers as a free member. But even if you don’t have the cash, we are all strapped at one time or another, entering as a free member will still land you enough to add to your list. Since it is free, you can’t really knock any that you get.

Remember you will need a nice digital item to give away that will add value to your list and make them want to sign up and stay with you. If you have any problems thinking up anything but would still like to get involved, give me a shout on here and I will get back to you to work with you until you have something.

I just thought some of you might be interested in hearing some real time stats for the first giveaway event I joined. I did not pay to upgrade and since I had a very small list of subscribers to promote to for sign up, I ended up being 163 out of 288 for gift spot which put me on the last half of the download pages. I was told because of that I would not get as many signups. The giveaway launched on the 15th(yesterday).

Yesterday I got 41 signups and today so far I have 16 at 2pm in the afternoon. There are still 12 days left to the giveaway I believe so I may end up with a couple hundred signups. Now that may not be much to some people but if I take each list and enter into each new giveaway I can get accepted for, then in a year or so I will have a big enough list to start making steady income from(providing I still offer promotions that will benefit my subscribers and not just random crap to try for a sale).

Now if I had upgraded or had more subscribers to promote to, I would have been on the first few pages of downloads and maybe have gotten more signups. I also believe that it has to do with what you are offering. Just because it is free doesn’t mean people are going to take it. It is only appealing if someone can benefit from it.

Since this is a giveaway event, you need to take into account that there will be a good percentage of people unsubscribing from your list after they have received their gift. The key is to try to keep the ones you can. I don’t like to hard sell or pester people, so I only email once a week with the occaissional broadcast in between when something comes up(like the giveaways). Some people, especially the hard hitting iternet marketers, send 3 or more emails a week. When I get those guys, I am soon off their list too.

I guess I will have to see how many of my signups stick around and buy something in the future though. So far, I have only had 2 of those unsubscribe. That is a good ratio wouldn’t you say?

I thought I would add another little report for my readers to download. This one gives a little help for people wanting to create an ebook but are not quite sure how to do it or where to go to sell it.

As for all of my downloads offered on this blog, they open into a pdf. The reader may wonder how to save it to their own computer. For those of you who are not sure this is how:

First you must have the Adobe Reader to open the document. You can download your free copy at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once that is installed on your computer, you will be able to click on the links for my free downloads and they will open up in a new browser. You will want to save it to your own computer so you can read it at your own pace, give it to a friend, or use it for reference in the future.

Look at the top left hand corner. You will see a tab bar that looks like this

You will want to click on the icon that has the picture of the blue ball/world shape. When you place your mouse over the icon it should tell you this is the icon to create a pdf. This is the right one. Click it and you will get an agreement form to click yes to since in order to create the document, you must use an online program from adobe for acrobat. This should be free. Just click agree and continue. Save to your desktop or a folder on your computer that you will be able to find easily when you want to.
