Author: With all of the new businesses and blogs coming online every day, it is getting more important to have a unique and appropriate header to represent your presence online.
Not everyone can afford to have a custom header made for them. And with all of the sites around who are offering free wordpress templates, there may be no reason why you would have to.
I love looking at templates. I could spend hours, days and even weeks clicking on page after page. Now I have come across a ton of these sites but until just recently did I come upon a site that had so many cool themes that I got a little excited. My creativity was sparked, I found theme after theme that looked perfect for a new mini site I could build and then flip for cash. There is a theme for just about every niche that is out there.
My mother has been looking for a theme that had grandparents with a computer. I have used keywords in google searches trying to find her one. I found the perfect one on this site!

How many visitors do you need to make 75K a year?
I was reading a post today by Clay Shirky. He was discussing this new book titled “Microtrends” by Mark Penn and Kinney Zalesna. They have a section called “A Wall Street Journal Story”. I was impressed with a few things being debated. One thing that stuck in my mind is when they said
“It takes about 100,000 unique visitors a month to generate an income of $75,000 a year.”
I don’t know about you, but I have a long way to go if that is a correct calculation. I can not do justice to the discussion Clay has regarding this piece of writing and the facts involved. How Easy is Blog Marketing?
Blog marketing is quickly becoming one of the best ways to make money online. It is the perfect platform for a new beginner to start off on. You make a blog on a particular subject that you want and then publish it for the world to see.
If you are just beginning in internet marketing, you are going to find that starting a blog is much easier to do than setting up a website is. The Power of Blogging
I have had so many blogs on various topics over the last few years. If I had really been able to grasp the power of continuous blogging over time, I would have kept these blogs instead of now having to go through the hassle and effort of trying to once again build up a readers list and get ranked on Google.
Now, I know most of you do not know me. I am Melanie. I am a 37 year old mom of 3 with one more due in 10 weeks. I have been trying various ways to make money online over the last 5 years and been studying computer software programs, internet courses, and finding all available free online services, programs, and applications available for parents who want to start making money from home.
I realize there is tons of the same information out there to find with so many people jumping on the bandwagon for this new online business idea. Everyone wants to make money online if possible. More and more people nowadays are finding ways to be able to stay home and do just that. Knowledge is power. Since it does take weeks and months of proper research to be able to diagnosis scams from real tips to help you make money, there are still many businesses out there making money off of other peoples lack of this knowledge. I am sickened when I see examples of this. I am here to provide some free useful information. I do have a business where I sell lessons and ebooks I have written on ebiz topics, as well as other products such as children’s picture book stories, and accessories. I know that there are many people out there that can not afford to spend money left right and centre to learn how to start and run an online business, so I hope I can provide enough free information to get some of you started making money within the next year.
I do not claim to make a lot of money online. I make on average about $1000 online every month, which I find is reasonable. I also make about $1000 offline with teaching when I have my classes(not much going on now when I am about to give birth and have a 19 month old running around as well). Now this may not be enough for most people. I do know some people who make $10k a month doing various work online. These people have numerous streams of income with several websites and business modules running on automatic residual income. I am basing my income on a simple system of selling my own products with a few affiliate links mixed in the ebooks, not much promoting/marketing, and only a few hours spent working a day. Since I treasure my time with my son, I am satisfied with making money yet, not needing to work fulltime to create the only source of income for my family I can afford to work part time hours and not stress.
